Engine Diagrams available online? 1990 Jetta?

Having problems (see below) with my Jetta.  Thought maybe I could get a
better sense of the electrics, etc. with an engine diagram.  Anyone know
of online sources? Or should I look in a bookstore?  Thanks.

a2 clutch – flywheel gone?

A2 clutch, 246,000 miles on the flywheel.  The last clutch didn’t last too
long, and I’m wondering if the flywheel is worn outta spec.  What are the
specs?

Thanks

2001 GTI headlight change

Hello.
When I started my GTI up today I noticed that the drivers side
headlight is out. The high beam works but no low beam.  I was
wondering how hard it is to change this lamp.  Is it something that
can be done at home or should it be done by a dealer?

Thanks for any advice.

advice on new used vw

Hi drivers,

My incredible expanding family means that I’m probably going to have to
buy a larger car, and maybe even (Gulp!) sell my beloved A2 jetta (it
burns my fingers even to type the words). I vant a vw, of course, but
would like advice on the newer ones. I’ll need room for 3 little kids (2
in car seats) and 2 grown ups, and I’d like something reasonably fun to
drive. Which of the mid to later 90′s volkswagens would you choose in
this case, and which year? Anybody out there have experience hauling the
kiddies around?

TIA – Chris

87 GTI 16V Sick

My 87 GTI 16V runs fine until it is shut-off and started again.  It sounds
like it is missing and back-fires continuously.  Once the engine cools off,
it runs fine again.  Mileage is +200K.

Eurovan rear door locked

Anyone out there know how to open the rear door of a ’01 Eurovan from
the inside?  The locking mechanism seems to be inoperable.  The key
turns but it won’t open.

a/c jetta

I know winter isn’t over yet, but I’ve been working on my project jetta (92)
getting it ready for the road… This thing has got a/c that was recharged
about 3 years ago I think (I know the previous owner) and it was working
until I took it last summer.  (ok maybe at that time it wasn’t so good, but
it put out a light cool breeze)..

taking a look at it now, and running it, I noticed that when I turn it on, I
don’t hear a visible engagement of the compressor like I would on say a FORD
vehicle… how does these VW a/c’s work?
