brake prop valve leak

I’ve been having a little bit of fade in the brakes of my 89 jet for the
last week or so, so I went out today to bleed the system and check for air
in the lines. While doing the inspection (and this job shoulda been done two
years ago – me dumb), I noticed that the rear brake proportioning valve
seems to be leaking around the bottom seal, near where it bolts into the
mounting bracket. Aha! Am I looking at getting a new one, or is their an
o-ring that I can simply replace to rebuild it? Bentley is silent on this
one.

Much obliged in advance-
Chris

    A new one is about $55USD.  I don’t think they’re rebuildable.

Everything is rebuildable with the proper tools and know-how ;-) …. It just
    might be pointless

I used to rebuild type1 vw wheel cylinders when I had more time than money.
I still do pointless things though…

Not everything is rebuildable, most things are. Some things are just throw
    away and replace.
