Cure for noisy lifters????

Is there a cure for noisy lifters in the 1.8L 8V??
Had ‘em in my Jetta, now in my Cab.

    yes replace them  or check your oil pressure and or both.

     Hydraulic lifters, right?

    Try switching to a synthetic oil such as Syntec or Mobil One.
    Syntec worked well to quiet down my 214K lifters !

    You might also try a cup of Marvel Mystery Oil in your crankcase.  You
    can get some at any auto parts store.
