Hi there,
I have a 94 Jetta GL 2.0L with the daytime running lights that come on
automatically when the car starts(Canadian model). A few days ago the
daytime lights stopped working. Now I have to turn the lights switch to the
on position for the lights to come on. This is not that much of a deal but
at the same time I lost all my dashboard lights!!!
I checked all the fuses and they seem to be fine. Could it be a relay and if
so which one and how can I test it?
Maybe it is the switch itself? I took it apart to see if any electronic
parts seemed burnt but I was unable to locate anything that seemed to cause
all these problems.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

It sounds like the switch. I have seen more than a few cars do this, and it
was always the switch.
