Over-Night Parking Lights?

Does anyone know the correct configeration one which lights should be lt
when you turn the Over-Night Parking lights on? when i turn mine on,  I
get the front turn signal light and the yellow blinker light in the back.
What is the Euro way for Over-night Parking lights on the A3. Any info on
this matter would help.

Thanks,

Doubt if it helps much, but fondly remember my sister’s 1959 MBenz 219 had
the euro style parking lights – you threw a switch to activate the system,
then there was a seperate toggle to select left or right depending on what
side of the street you parked on. – was the "regular" parking lights, but
only one side came on at a time.
