I came across a person you was selling the digital climate control module on
ebay. Is it possible to add digital climate control to a car that only has
regular climate control. 2000 Jetta GLS VR6. Its a feature i wanted when i
bought the car, but i bought it used and my car had all the other options i
wanted, so i decided to deal with it.
IS IT POSSIBLE!?
ANy input?

I’m looking for an adaptor or bellhousing to fit an american four speed
or late model 5-speed to a vw water pumper for a hot rod project but
can’t seem to find anyone that has one ,does anyone out there know how
to do this or know where I can get one
does this car need the auto meter tach adapter?
what wire do I hook the signel lead from the auto meter tach to?
(pre flame defence) yes the car has a fatory tach, No the view obstucting
Tach will not add POWER to the car, Yes I am willing to put holes in the
dash. I have wasted so much money on the stupid tach, that I dont want to
spend more money for the tach addapter!
Just asking a simple question, but if you feel the need to flame, then go
ahead, I can handle it.
Hello. I am selling my ECU with a socketed Garrett chip on eBay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=335…
Thank you for looking. I apologize if this is the wrong forum for selling items.
Hello all,
We have just purchased a new 2003 Jetta. We have had several years of
experiece with the A1-A3 Jetta’s and have been very satisfied.
Should there be any thing that we should be aware of, watch for, etc in the
newer 2003 models? If you know of any good resources for information,
please pass it along.
Thank you,
Erik Larsen
Have anyone repair a Digifant II ECU?
Anyone knows wath components usually get bad. can anyone post pic’s of
the interior of the ecu (KEN) and mark in the picture that
component’s.
What part of the ECU controls the Injection, the large or the small
plate?
What reading should i get from the injector rail conector, 12V?
1990 Cabriolet 1.8 (2H)
After a big work under the wood, the ground strap from the gearbox to
the batery didn’t work, after correct that, the car flood the
cylinder’s with gas. A friend of mine take a look inside the ecu an
find out a blown trace, correct that, same thing. I already make all
the test’s in the bentley.
Any help??
I _think_ I’d read about someone doing this in a magazine article at some
point , don’t remember exactly .
Will the engine bay accomodate the 2.0 16v ; is the block the same size as
the 1.8 16V or is it a bit taller
The car is an 84 Jetta GLI .

Here’s one for you all-
For the last year or so I’ve been trying to figure out why my mileage is
down around 25 per gallon city / 29 highway. I put in a TT exhaust 6 months
back which may have helped a little but not much. New O2 sensor made no
difference. New rotor and Dist cap, plugs, ditto. Summer and winter same
mileage, running with AC or without makes a slight difference but not a lot.
No vacuum leaks found. I was wondering if perhaps I had a leaky injector and
had put this on my to do list when I just took the car on an extended run
from central Texas up to Colorado. Lots of highway miles.
As I drove up the mileage began to improve with each tank. Around 30 mpg
around Lubbock, 32 at Colorodo Springs. One week of driving around the
state, a couple of days in the city and then 4 or 5 in the high country over
mountain passes. By the end of the week my mileage on one tank (90 octane –
couldn’t find higher) was at 37.6 mpg. I wondered if maybe the hard running
had made something settle out and my mileage would stay up in the mid 30s
highway.
Wrong. As I drove down through New Mexico fuel economy began to fall – first
down to 31 mpg, and then across west Texas back down around 29 on the
highway.
Does anybody have an explanation for why this is happening? Otherwise the
car runs fine, though it seems to prefer the cooler winter weather (‘course,
I do to, so this may be my imagination). The only constant seems to be lower
elevation means poorer mileage. Any thoughts?
TIA,
Chris
