Regular to Auto Climate Control

I came across a person you was selling the digital climate control module on
ebay. Is it possible to add digital climate control to a car that only has
regular climate control. 2000 Jetta GLS VR6. Its a feature i wanted when i
bought the car, but i bought it used and my car had all the other options i
wanted, so i decided to deal with it.
IS IT POSSIBLE!?
ANy input?

If you ever find out it is possible, tell me how much you paid for it. I
have the adjustment knobs in my 99′ Golf… I hate adjustment knobs, they
are impossible to get a decent temp out of, they are either too hot or too
cold. Selecting a set temperature is much safer too, you set and forget, no
fiddling with a knob low in the dash trying to acheive perfect
temperature…. That is another thing, the radio and climate are too low…
I don’t need the cupholder and storage pocket that high up… are those
pieces in any way modular and moveable? (I know its less then likely, but I
am too used to the great ergonomics of an A2 Golfs radio/climate system….
high in the dash, so I don’t have to take eyes off the road)

Possible, sure, how much money do you have?  You will need a LOT more
than just the Climatic Control face plate… sensors, wiring harness,
    servos, ect.

The problem I have with Climatic control is it isn’t as easy to control.
You start the car and *FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH* from
your vents, you have to tap the reduce fan speed several times to get it
back under control so you can hear the radio.  Or having to tell it you
want dash vents, recirc over and over.  Grrrrr.

Be happy with what you’ve got and save the money for tires or something.

    Pencilneck  blah blah blah
