Not long ago, I seem to recall someone here looking for those groovy red
Scirocco (’74-’81) badges. Well, you’re in luck because I recently
acquired an extra extra. (one spare lives in my collection in case some
creep gets greedy and swipes the one off my car).
Make me an offer, and let me know whether you require the red
"Volkswagen" text that matches the red "Scirocco_S (fuel injected)" badge.
While I’m ranting about badges, what’s up with the red "Rabbit_S (fuel
injected)" badge. I have only ever seen one, and it’s in my collection. It
came off a Westmoreland Rabbit ’80-’81 and says made in USA on the back.

I have a 78 Scirocco Limited Edition (aka Wolfsburg Edition or
Sidewinder) that is missing the grille and hatch badges. What makes them
different is they are white with black letters on the back and the VW on
the front is white. The VW dealer no longer sells them. I could
probably paint the regular ones but would rather have the originals if I
can find them.
BTW, I am also looking for the original front air dam for one too, it is
the same as an "S" model. I know they are hard to find and expensive if
you can find them.
Thanks,
Mark Pilson
