I have a 1993 Passat GLX and I’m sure I have oil blow past my rings.
I can see some smoke when I get the RPMs up there, like having to
really stomp on it getting on the highway.  I noticed that there is a
Technical Service Bulletin numbered 179201 dated Jaunuary 1992.  I
realize it is a year before my car but I was wondering if anyone had
that TSB or others relating to excessive oil consumption?  If so,
would you be able to email it to me.  I’ve been unable to find copies.
